Cooperative Advisory Council

The Cooperative Advisory Council of the Province of Buenos Aires was created in 2010, as part of the initiative of the Undersecretariat of Cooperative Action in the sphere of the Secretariat of Citizen Participation. Its objective is to generate a consultation space regarding cooperative activity in the provincial arena. The Council is made up of representatives of the cooperative sector and the government. Monthly meetings are held to discuss social economy and associative policies. In particular, it has the power to establish the criteria for the feasibility of projects under the Fund for Cooperative Education and Promotion. It also functions as a specialized consultation body for bills and decrees related to Cooperatives, distribution of resources, development and subsidies.
