Transparente.gt
Transparente.gt is a citizen initiative dedicated to the creation of technological tools, platforms and applications in a collaborative way, aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, denouncing corruption and making public management transparent. The initiative is comprised of volunteers with programming, application development and open source knowledge, which aim to improve the supply of services and public goods through open government. The initiative came to an end on January 2018, after its co-founders achieved to implement different tools to fight corruption inside the public institutions; for example: dbCompras and the open data program for the Ministry of Public Finance, among other projects.
