Visible Elections
Visible Elections is a smartphone app that allows citizens to report incidents linked to government elections. By providing visibility to irregularities of different types that occurred during the elections of 2014, this citizen innovation seeks to make elections more transparent and gives a greater role to the citizens in the electoral process. Given its success, the innovation continued to be implemented for future elections.
Institutional design
