#VivosEnNosotros

#VivosEnNosotros (lit. Alive in us) is a campaign of Life Instinct, a civil society initiative that seeks to reduce the number of homicides that occur in Latin America within the next 10 years, based on a series of concrete actions. One of these actions is the creation of the platform #VivosEnNosotros, which pays tribute to people who have been killed in order to go beyond the figures and use memory as a transformation tool. Relatives of the victims can use the platform to create and send tributes to their murdered relative and share their stories. The initiative aims to create awareness of the effects of violence and to urge authorities to take action. The results of the campaign were presented on June 19, 2017 before the Organization of American States (OAS) to urge the government to take concrete action and adopt measures to reduce the high levels of violence in the region.
