General Council of Mental Health (CABA)
The General Council of Mental Health (CABA) is an advisory, non-binding body, whose members fulfill the functions of debate, proposal and advice on health issues, from an interdisciplinary and intersectorial perspective. The Council also acts as a mediator between the different organizations that make up the health system, and receives reports and evaluates the overall functioning of the Health System with the aim of proposing improvements. The Council is composed of: professional and non-professional workers from the state subsector; associations of assistants and relatives; trade union associations with trade union status; training institutions; academic institutions; professional associations; and, the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires. All members fulfill these functions on an ad honorem basis.
