Provincial Consortium for Waste Management
The Provincial Consortium for Waste Mangament consists of an institutional space composed of municipalities of the province of La Pampa, non-governmental organizations and citizen groups. Its objective is to develop joint diagnosis and solutions on waste management, based on a model of sustainable development that benefits the whole of society. The creation of this organization has been based on a participatory model and social mobilization, based on the promotion of discussion forums and meetings between the various social actors involved with the theme. It has the power to design and implement specific programs, according to the regulations of each locality, and programs of regional scope for the province of La Pampa.
