Federal Youth Parliament of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism

The Federal Youth Parliament of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) is a meeting in which young Argentinians meet in the Chamber of Deputies in an exercise that involves formulating and discussing a bill that addresses issues of discrimination, xenophobia and/or racism. Young people interested in participating must submit an essay on topics set by INADI, which are evaluated by a jury made up of representatives of two national government institutions and a provincial or local government institution or a civil society organization specialized in human rights and protection of children and teenagers. The jury selects three participants per province and three representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The purpose of the meeting is that students exchange ideas, incorporate knowledge and awareness regarding the issue of discrimination throughout the country, and improve their deliberative skills. The Federal Youth Parliament took place once a year between 2014 and 2019.
