Round tables for the 2nd Plan of Equality and Gender Equity 2010-2022

The Round tables for the 2nd Plan of Equality and Gender Equity 2010-2022 are a mechanism of citizen participation that creates spaces for the formulation of proposals. The deliberation takes place among representatives of indigenous and afro-descendant women, adolescents and young people, older adults, trade unionists, cooperatives, businesswomen, politicians, incarcerated, persons living with HIV or Aids, disabled people, academics, and feminists. The systematization of these proposals, together with the diagnosis and analysis of gender gaps, allowed for the elaboration of the agenda of the 2nd Plan of Equality and Gender Equity of Honduras 2010-2022, which contains various public policy suggestions. In total, the initiative implemented 14 working round tables, 4 regional consultation events, and 1 validation workshop.
