Youth Council for Citizen Participation and the Creation of Opportunities
The Youth Council for Citizen Participation and the Creation of Opportunities was created during the 1st Youth Forum "Let's Talk Today, Let's Act Now". This allows young people to participate in spaces of discussion, reflection, advocacy and deliberation. The main objective of the initiative is to promote the development of the Honduran youth by including them in public spaces of collective reflection. Moreover, to know their opinion regarding priority issues that influence the dynamics of their personal, family, social and productive life. By 2014, two Youth Councils had been implemented and a total of approximately 300 people had participated.
