CityCop
CityCop is an app that allows citizens to report crimes and plots, based on those reports, crime maps in different cities or regions. The categories of crimes that can be reported are: robbery of personal items, of a vehicle, business or home, suspicious activity, homicide, vandalism, crimes related to drugs and other crimes. Additionally, the app allows citizens to post "safety tips" for specific areas and receive real-time alerts of what is happening in areas of their interest. In Latin America, the app is used in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile. In Argentina it was implemented in Córdoba, Rosario and Buenos Aires province, and registers more than 42,000 reports.
