Citizen Action Project for Democratic Strengthening in the Transition of Government
The "Citizen Action Project for Democratic Strengthening in the Transition of Government" is a project of the Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations for the Development of Honduras (FOPRIDEH) with the support of the IMPACTOS Program that aims to advance the development of capacities in advocacy within Civil Society Organizations (CSOs); as well as to strengthen the institutional framework of transparency and anti-corruption policies of public officials during the transition process. The project has a theoretical phase that focuses on training CSOs and a second practical part, which seeks to build an agenda of transparency and the reduction of corruption, monitor political forums and develop advocacy activities at the governmental level. As part of this initiative, a presidential Forum on Transparency and Anti-Corruption was held, which was monitored by civil society with positive results.
