National Employment Council
The National Employment Council was created with the objective of defining national employment strategies and policies in Honduras. The Council is made up of representatives of the public sector, as well as representatives of private companies, workers' organizations and peasants' organizations. Council members must submit their strategies to the Executive for discussion and, if necessary, approval. In addition, the Council has the power to invite representatives from other relevant sectors and organizations to discuss specific issues.
