Citizen Assemblies of Santa Fe?s Provincial Strategic Plan
The purpose of the Citizen Assemblies of Santa Fe?s Provincial Strategic Plan is to foster citizen deliberation in workshops which lead to the formulation, follow-up and evaluation of the Provincial Strategic Plan of Santa Fe. Between 2008 and 2013, 70 citizen assemblies were held, in which local and communal authorities, citizens, representatives of civil society organizations and government agencies participated. In the citizen assemblies, regional diagnoses and strategic projects were formulated, projects were prioritized, progress in the implementation of the Provincial Strategic Plan was monitored, and the update of the foresaid plan was discussed and developed.
