Advisory Councils of Protected Natural Areas
The Advisory Councils of Protected Natural Areas are agencies for social participation. They are spaces for consensus between the public sector, for external and community cooperation to promote support for programs of Protected Natural Areas. It is comprised of the Governor of the State or Head of Government of Mexico City, the Director of the protected natural area, the Municipal President of where the natural area is located, and representatives of academic institutions, research centers and social organizations.
