National Council of Organic Production
The National Council of Organic Production is an inclusive and representative space for consultation that advises different federal authorities on the subject of organic products. It gives opinions on the regulation of organic production, especially on methods, substances and materials, and determines whether or not a product is organic. It also encourages the development of the stakeholders? capacities in the organic sector and promotes actions for furthering organic production. It is held on a semi-annual basis.
