State Committees for Development Planning
The State Committees for Development Planning are decentralized agencies of state governments. Their function is to assist in the formulation, updating, implementation and evaluation of state development plans in accordance with the national plans of the federal government. They also participate in the planning, programming, evaluation and informative process, as well as in the execution of works and provisioning of public services. They are composed of state and municipal authorities, representatives of the federal legislative power and of the private, social and academic sectors.
