Health Committee of Lomas de Zempoala
The Health Committee of the Primary Health Unit of Lomas de Zempoala (2007-2009) encouraged citizens and local health authorities to work collaboratively in improving the quality of medical services offered to the community in the primary care hospital of the community of Lomas de Zempoala, Guanajuato. It carried out various activities such as diagnosing and identifying difficulties in accessing health services, collaborating in the development of health-related projects, and locally monitoring health programs. Thanks to the commitment to incorporate the Committee's decisions, the results were concrete improvements in the provision of services, and the community became interested in the Committee's work.
