Economic and Social Council of Mexico City
The Economic and Social Council of Mexico City is the representative body of the productive, labor, cultural, tourist, academic and civil sector of Mexico City. The Council analyzes, reviews and makes recommendations regarding the economic and social policy of the city. It is made up of sixty-two representatives from the private, social, public and academic sectors. The decisions of the Council are binding.
