Citizen Consultation on "PRD-PAN Alliance in the State Election"
The Citizen Consultation on the PRD-PAN Alliance for the state governor elections in the State of Mexico was organized by the civil organization "Civic Alliance" under the authority of a Citizens Council comprised of individuals of merit with a democratic trajectory. The functions of the Citizens Council were: a) to monitor compliance with the rules in the organization of the consultation; b) to receive, investigate and resolve possible complaints and, c) to issue necessary resolutions to guarantee the objectivity and transparency of the consultation. The text of the question: "For the next gubernatorial election in the State of Mexico, would you agree on an alliance between the PAN and the PRD proposed by a candidate with a common government program?"
