National Consultation on Economic Policy and Conflict in Chiapas
The civil organization "Civic Alliance" organized a National Consultation on issues of national interest. The consultation included three questions: 1) Should Carlos Salinas de Gortari be investigated and, if necessary, punished for his responsibility in the economic crisis? 2) Should the credit offered by the United States government be rejected? 3) Should the path of dialogue and peace be resumed and the militarization of Chiapas used to resolve the conflict be discarded?
