Citizen Consultation (telephone) about an increase in the price of the Metro ticket
The Citizen Consultation on the approval or rejection of an increase in the price of the Metro ticket was carried out in 2009 to hear the opinion of the population regarding the increase in the cost of a ticket for the Public Transport System. The Citizen Consultation is an instrument through which citizens can be heard through direct questions, forums or consultations, on any subject that has a relevant impact on the different areas of Mexico City. The results of the consultation are decisive for the convening authority. 6100 users participated, of which 74% spoke out on a one-peso increase in price.
