Technical Advisory Committee for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degeneration
The Technical Advisory Committee for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degeneration is a multi-sectorial technical advisory group. Civil society organizations (producers, professional associations, representatives of educational or research institutions) and government institutions related to the management or conservation of forest resources are involved. It seeks to exchange information with the rest of society and establish channels for communication and coordination of various initiatives that affect the REDD+ Working Group of the Intersecretarial Commission on Climate Change.
