Autonomous Working Group (Forced and Involuntary Disappearances)
The Autonomous Working Group in the State of Coahuila is a professional and autonomous citizen-led organization. Human rights defenders, academics or experts in the field participate. Public officials do not participate. Its function, under recommendation of the UN, is to follow-up on the compliance of the authorities of Coahuila, in order to guarantee the rights of the disappeared persons and their families.
