Public Hearings Tamaulipas
The public hearings of the State of Tamaulipas are a participatory mechanism to directly consult the population of a certain municipality. They are carried out within the framework of the legislation of the regional government and can be requested by the representatives of the city council or civil society groups. These assemblies are organized by the Municipalities, which are also responsible for following up citizens' requests or putting them in touch with the competent authorities.
