#NeitherCensorshipNorPadlocks
#NeitherCensorshipNorPadlocks is a coalition formed by different organizations, collectives, companies and citizens that aims to protect digital rights in Mexico. In 2020, this initiative launched a digital campaign to prevent online censorship and the implementation of digital locks that were intended to be imposed through the reforms of the Federal Copyright Law and the Federal Criminal Code. This initiative succeeded in getting the National Human Rights Commission to declare the reforms unconstitutional. The campaign was extended so that the Supreme Court of Justice would file an action of unconstitutionality against these reforms.
