Municipal Council on Disability
In two municipalities in Neuquén province, Municipal Disability Councils were created by municipal ordinances, which have the purpose of advising the Municipal Government regarding public policies favoring the inclusion of people with disabilities, proposing initiatives and reforms. The Disability Council of San Martín de los Andes was created in 2008 and the one of the city of Neuquén in 2016. The Councils are made up of representatives of educational institutions, government agencies and civil society organizations working on issues related to the inclusion of disabled people.
