Great Consultation of the Curriculum of Basic and Medium Education
The Great Consultation of the Curriculum of Elementary and Middle Education was a process carried out between 2007 and 2008, in which the Government received the contributions of the citizens to develop the different curricular documents for educational institutions. Teachers, students, parents, school leaders, associations, trade unions, traders and representatives of non-governmental organizations participated in the process through workshops, town councils and visits to the educational portal. The consultation was framed in the process of transforming the System of Elementary and Middle Education carried out by the incoming Government of Daniel Ortega.
