Innovative Platform for the Construction of a Renewed Educational System

The Innovative Platform for the Construction of a Renewed Educational System is the product of a process that took place between 2004 and 2006 called the National Forum of Education, which had the objective of proposing a new educational system for the country. During the process four forums were developed in which eleven thematic tables related to the problems of education were developed, which resulted in the proposal for the educational system. The working tables and the construction of the document that constitutes the Platform were carried out by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the National Technological Institute, the National Council of Universities, private universities, teachers unions, student organizations, Entrepreneurs and civil society organizations such as the Education and Human Development Forum, National Pedagogical Movement and Civil Coordinator.
