Community Police Program
The Community Police Program is an initiative of the Ministry of the Interior that seeks to bring the police force closer to the communities through citizen participation. Training programs help officers to adopt different patrolling practices, which allow them to interact more effectively with citizens. The main objective is to reduce crime, show greater presence in specific sectors, and facilitate the exchange of information to gain a better understanding of the dangers citizens are facing.
