InnovandoPy Hackaton
"InnovandoPy" is an event that aims to promote the creation of technological solutions to social problems by promoting the interaction of citizenship and government. It emphasizes the use of open data from public institutions. So far, events were held in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The ?hackathons? were respectively organized around issues of education and public expenditures, and justice and health. The winning teams received funding for the development of their apps.
Institutional design

Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
