Asu Viva
The project "Asu Viva" is the name of the proposal to update the urban plans of the city of Asunción. The Municipality of Asunción leads the project. The first phase of the proposal was designed in a participatory process consisting of workshops and meetings with more than 30 organizations from various sectors of civil society as well as representatives of the Municipal Board and the National Government. Another process began since the launch of the proposal at the end of 2016,, further expanding the mechanisms for participation and consultation with all citizens to legitimate the project. The objective is to achieve future development of the city in a more inclusive and sustainable way.
