National Council of Indigenous Education and the Areas of Indigenous School Education
The National Council of Indigenous Education and the Areas of Indigenous School Education are two agencies of the General Directorate of Indigenous Education situated within the Ministry of Education and Culture of Paraguay. The councils are participation mechanisms for the formulation and implementation of policies related to indigenous education. Representatives of governmental and non-governmental institutions, members of indigenous communities, political and religious leaders, as well as fathers, mothers and teachers, participate in these councils.
