Coastal Development Program
The Coastal Development Program of the civil society organization CooperAcción is a project for the training, discussion and formulation of various proposals, with effects on the Participatory Budget, Concerted Development Plans and policies on fisheries, production and environmental matters. Thanks to funding from the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), this program was carried out in the Provinces of Barranca and Huaura from 2007 onwards, promoting the establishment of multisectorial committees and facilitating the preparation of the documents entitled "Agenda21" through participatory collective decision-making mechanisms.
