Ecology Forum
The Ecology Forum of Peru is a citizens' movement in environmental matters, open to the participation of citizens and NGOs, aimed at promoting dialogue and consensus-building around issues and conflicts on Sustainable Human Development in Peru. They call for citizen mobilization and active participation in the defense of environmental rights and obligations, drafting proposals for public policies and participatory management for inclusive, egalitarian and sustainable development. They have issued numerous documents clarifying positions and making contributions around specific environmental conflicts, and have participated in processes of elaboration of legal frameworks. They have furthermore participated in certain State branches and entities as representatives of the civil sector in environmental issues, natural resources and quality of life.
