National Convention for Peruvian Agriculture (CONVEAGRO)
The National Convention for Peruvian Agriculture (Span. CONVEAGRO) is a forum for the dialogue, exchange and analysis of the agricultural sector. It has the participation of 17 national agricultural guilds, 20 civil society organizations and 17 regional CONVEAGROS, in addition to academic organizations, experts and other stakeholders. Its purpose is to generate a space for the discussion, elaboration and presentation of proposals regarding the agrarian public policies in the country. These proposals take the form of recommendations and draft laws. To these ends, numerous institutional spaces, both public and private and representative of their sector participate.
