Plebiscite / Referendum Epistolary Vote
A plebiscite was held to decide on the constitutional reform that would allow Uruguayans to vote from abroad, a proposal that had the name of "Epistolary Vote." The initiative was carried out mainly by the Frente Amplio as part of a policy of inclusion of the diaspora. The "Epistolary Vote" reached 37.42% of the votes cast, which means that the reform was rejected.
