Web Discussion MVD 2030
In the Strategic Plan Montevideo 2030 framework, an online debate was held between 2013 and 2014 with the aim of opening a space for citizens to participate in the process of drawing up the strategic plan. Through a web platform, all the interested people could get involved in the debate, presenting proposals and ideas of projects for Montevideo or weighing in on ideas already presented. The platform reached almost one hundred thousand visits and two hundred proposals, which focused mainly on three themes: mobility, public spaces and urban facilities. These proposals were a fundamental input for the elaboration of the plan.
