Juntas.uy
Juntas.uy is a project carried out by a civil society organization, and its main objective is to monitor the activities of the Departmental Boards of Uruguay through a web platform. It also seeks to make available to the public all information collected in open data format. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the performance of the Boards and to measure the Index of Transparency, Productivity and Per Diem Expenditures. Finally, it aims to establish communication channels between the citizens and the Boards so as to promote citizen participation.
