Montevideo Decides
?Montevideo Decides? is an initiative implemented by the Government of Montevideo that aims to actively and directly engage citizens in the decisions, public policies and actions related to the general improvement of the City of Montevideo through the use of a digital platform. To access the platform, citizens have to register themselves as users so they can be enabled to comment and propose their opinions regarding the initiatives intended for the city. Likewise, registered users can upload and propose their own ideas and projects to be analyzed and considered by the authorities for their future implementation. In some cases, the platform is also used to conduct public consultations and surveys. Regarding the topics proposed for consideration of the citizens, these tend to focus on issues and activities related with management and urban development.
