Committee of Defense and Citizen Security
The Committees of Defense and Citizen Security are non-governmental civil society associations supporting the police authorities in the municipality of Maracaibo, Zulia. It functions to support the development of coordination activities, training and citizen security, with the ultimate goal to fight criminality. By collaborating with the community, the committees represent instruments for the implementation of security policies against criminality and conduct that is contrary to public order, morality and good manners.
