Prior Consultation on gas exploration in North Charagua
The "Consultations on gas exploration in North Charagua" were carried out from February 2007 to February 2012. In total, twenty-seven consultations were carried out, mainly within Guaraní communities, on planned gas exploration activities in intact natural areas of North Charagua in the departments of La Paz, Cochabamba, and Chuquisaca. Decisions resulting from the consultation and participation process must be respected and considered as fundamental criteria for the execution of hydrocarbons activities, works or projects.
