Bolivia's Autonomous Referendum of 2008
The autonomous referendum in Bolivia was carried out to approve or reject the Statute of Autonomy of four Bolivian departments: Santa Cruz, Tarija, Beni, and Pando. Referendums were implemented in Santa Cruz during May, and in Beni, Pando and Tarija during June. The Referendum was approved by majority vote in Santa Cruz, with 85.4%; in Beni, with 80.2%; in Pando, with 81.8%; and in Tarija, with 80.3%.
