School Boards
School Boards are made up of members of the Committee of the Educational Unit and two representatives of indigenous peoples, peasant communities or neighborhood committees. School boards were created with the aim to include citizens in defining the contents of the school project or educational unit. Furthermore, their responsibilities include project oversight, allocation of resources, and the prosecution of severe faults by teaching or administrative staff.
