Recall Referendum (Prefects)
The Recall Referendum of August 10, 2008 was carried out to decide the permanence of eight of the nine departmental prefects. In each department the question was: "Do you agree with the continuation of the policies, actions and management by the Prefect of the Department? By law it was established that to revoke the prefects it was necessary to obtain a percentage higher than the percentage obtained when they were elected.
