La Paz ¿Cómo Vamos? (How Are We Doing?)
La Paz ¿Cómo Vamos? (lit. How Are We Doing) is a citizen observatory that carries out assessments of factors that affect the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city of La Paz. It promotes access to public information and disseminates technical indicators and studies regarding citizen's opinions. Its objective is to encourage the participation and shared social responsibility between different social actors and to contribute to an efficient, transparent and committed public management of its city. It annually assembles roundtable discussions in which experts, authorities, and citizens help diagnose the causes of problems and propose solutions or alternatives to contribute to improving the challenges presented by the citizens. The observatory is led by the Foundation for Journalism, in partnership with Swiss Solidarity, the University of Our Lady of La Paz and the National Chamber of Commerce.
