National Council of Education
Created on November 24th, 1995, the National Council of Education is a collegial body within the structure of the Ministry of Education. The council participates in the formulation and evaluation of national education policy. It seeks democratic alternatives within its sphere of competence to ensure the civil society participation in the development, enhancement and consolidation of national education. It is up to the council to formulate and evaluate the national education policy, ensure the quality of education and the compliance with the educational legislation. The councilors gather every first week of each month.
