State Councils on School Food
The State Councils on School Food are collegiate bodies and supervisory, permanent, deliberative and advisory in character. They were created to monitor the use of financial resources transferred from the National Fund for School Development to entities responsible for school meal programs, and to ensure the high quality of school meals. Its members, incumbents and alternates are citizens who work voluntarily to represent various segments of civil society and the public sector.
