Municipal Councils of Sports
The Municipal Councils of Sport and Leisure aim at formulating public policies and implementing actions that strengthen sport and leisure activities in Brazilian municipalities. Their main responsibilities are to: develop studies, projects, discussions and research related to the situation of sport and leisure activities in each municipality; collaborate with other municipal organs in planning actions linked to gymnastics, recreational and sports projects; analyze proposals and suggestions expressed by society; and share their opinion about complaints which relate to programs, competitions and cultural events of the city.
