Mayor at the Station
The Prefeito na Estação (lit. Mayor at the Station) program consists of weekly visits made by the mayor, vice-mayor and the secretaries of the city of Canoas to train stations in order to listen to demands, complaints and suggestions for public policies from citizens. By 2016, 89 editions of the program had taken place with the participation of around 5000 citizens.
