Agora in Network
Ágora em Rede (lit. Agora in Network) is a collaborative digital platform created by the city of Canoas to establish an online dialogueue channel between citizens and public authorities, as well as a discussion platform for citizens themselves. The platform?s functions are: to promote discussion forums and discussions with the mayor and the secretaries of the municipality - the themes of which may be suggested by social leaders - and with important figures in the international community in the field of city management and public policies. Data from 2014 shows that 208 online discussion forums were created and over 10 thousand interactions
